Video compares iOS 9.1 beta with iOS 9.0 on the Apple iPhone 4s and Apple iPhone 5

Some of those still using the Apple iPhone 4s and Apple iPhone 5 are complaining about how sluggish iOS 9 is on their handset. Considering that the iPhone 4s has 512MB of RAM and a dual-core 800MHz CPU compared to the 2GB of RAM and dual-core 1.8GHz CPU on the Apple iPhone 6s, you might not expect iOS 9 to be running smoothly at all on the older phones...

Most useless Update ever !! nothing is there to be happy , only powersaver, that powersaver not even close to samsung powersaving, those updates are to make ios fans mentally happy , nothing else. iOS9 = Android ICS 4.0 4 iOS updates = 1 Android update always, Even 128 ram phone can run poor iOS 9

I hope 9.1 can fix the framedrops when accessing Spotlight Search and GAWD, bring the back the old stills. The new ones are too f*cking feminine.

I sense some societal pressure and self-loathing here. Can you tell me the root of this? Maybe your dad beat you for being to feminine when you were a kid?

See, I have to wonder, iOS needs to work on very specific products, and that's about it, Android needs to work on a broad range of products. Yet when Android has bugs, its inexcusable and such. yet iOS has bugs, and it is excusable? really? this whole brand loyalty thing confuses me.

I'm with 5s and ios 9 : works perfectly, and even removed the worst bug ever - two second delay in response to an incoming call. :)

I wouldn't try the beta on my main device, the program is really tricky to get out of. I wound up having to take my Air to Apple, due to a recognition glitch. Please be careful guys, if you decide to enroll in the beta program. They had to extract the software, do a fresh 8.4 install, then upgrade from there. Works great now.

My iPod touch 5th gen, which has hardware comparable to that of the 4 year-old iPhone 4S works PERFECTLY with iOS 9.

Closing a web page in Safari is hilariously bad on the iPad Air. You see like a little white rectangle that suspends there for 2 seconds before the favourites pages finally flies into view. This stuff is more janky then HTC sense on the Sensation. Lol
