Vertu auctioned most of its luxury phones, but they remained expensive

Even though all Vertu smartphones are now being sold by an auction house called G.J. Wisdom & Co., the starting prices are still high enough to make these luxury device untouchable by the middle-class...

Thankful that one of the biggest scams of the mobile industry has closed or is closing down. I understand that people have the right to spend their money as they deem fit but Vertu was a scam selling bog average devices for outrageous prices.

Good point kevin. Yet a real Swiss watch could last you a life time, but any device with a computer in it will give you maybe 10 years at best.

Wonder if these would accrue value if kept unopened in mint condition in the near future, kind of like collector's item. I think there's a strong chance cuz of the Vertu brand. Damn if I only had the money, I'd prob risk it! Lol.
