So the s10+ is my 5th Samsung phone, but first with curved edges. I must admit the edge menu is cool and offers a lot of different customizations options. However, I still prefer a flat phone because I feel it will help do a better job of protecting my display in the event I drop the phone, which is very rare. Samsung forced my hand because the benefits of the s10 and s10+ outweighed my preference for a flat display. If they offered a flat display s10, then would have gone with that over the s10+ without even thinking twice. My last phone was the s8 Active, which had a flat display. In my opinion, the s8 Active was simply an overall better device than the s8 and s8+ when you compare the specs side by side. A s10 Active with a rugged casing and a flat display would be nice but it seems as though Samsung is moving away from rugged phones, which is why I purchased a fully protective phone case for my s10+.

I can't believe that a lot of people don't like the beautiful curved displays.
