pondering... would vzw require full time mobile broadband connect feature? if not, sounds like a sweet setup to have mifi on an android phone!

Maybe I will wait to upgrade my LG Voyager even longer. ((Still bitter that I missed out on the 24-Hr 79.99 sale of the enV Touch))

Phonearena, I think you got it wrong: WIFI on a phone is a win-win since VZW still gets paid for a data connection but it doesn't take its network bandwidth. MIFI goes through a cellular network, so the win for Verizon here is additional data revenue through tethering plans. And make no mistake, you will have to add a tethering plan if you want to use this phone as a mifi.

One more thing, MIFI is not Verizons technology it is Novatels, and Sprint's card has more options and through various 3rd party tests performs better. No offense VZ people( i embrace competition) but Sprint has launched the Hero and the Moment comes Nov 1st, stop sucking Big reds big red pecker and talking about this "partnership" Sprint has had a "partnership" with google for over a year and a half, not too mention is a charter member of the Open handset alliance. Oh and google has also partnered with Sprint, clear wire and intel for Wimax. You are so clouded, the only reason VZW jumped on android is because they HAVE TOO. This is nothing innovative. Once again to all you VZ people this is no disrespect to you and not meant to be inflamatory, I have many good friends that work for Verizon., sorry for the spelling and grammar errors I am on my way out the door to try and put food on my family's table. Oh and Phonearena, can you please stop posting unofficial and biased information on this site, it is worse than the enquirer.

sprint has had a partnership with google for 1.5 years? and is JUST NOW releasing a phone? sad. chill out. geeze. anyways, android phones on tmobile with cupcake 1.5 rooted can do this for FREE and have been able to for quite some time. its not new. its news for VZW, but i guess they realized at some point they wont be able to keep people from rooting their phones n using free tethering so why not just make it part of the phone? dont believe me? make sure your android is on version 1.5, root the thing (which is way easy), and googles site gives you the tethering app. its free. codes.google.com if i remember right. FREE WIFI TETHERING with multiple device connections. MIFI on tmobile, for free :)

GO fuck yourself I have worked for both companies and Know how they both operate. I just pulled 200 lines from VZW because I sell with integrity and dont Bash my competition, the irony is that the VZW rep sat there and Bashed me and still offered a quote that was 43% higher than what I through on the table. I have now learned that the best way for VZW reps to pull deals off is not by selling but by making up false news to make their pricing seem worth it. You should get a new job and learn facts before spouting off shit that is untrue, I know more than you, I am better than you and I will shit on your shit. Good Day sir. And no disrespect.

Wow, somebody is really mad. You are ridiculous though and quite frankly I think it's funny. Oh and how are you going to put food on your families table when sprint goes under, aren't you guys sucking on T-mobile's pecker right now, no disrespect of course.

Geez phoneguy you are absolutely ridiculous! You sure seem like the "family type of guy" who's trying to provide for his family.. with all the trash you talk! We're talking phone's and wireless providers on here for crying out loud! You act like someone insulted your wife or something. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and get a grip and a life! I will give you credit though for saying that no one should trash talk the competition. There is way too much on that going around. As much as cell phones and cell phone companies are a large issue these days, people get way too bent out of shape about this stuff.

Excuse my while i yawn... I'm guessing Joikispot is an unknown App? That "Feature" to use your phone as a Mifi device is not new. It's been around for atleast two years now.
