Verizon's HTC Whitestone passes through the FCC
The HTC Whitestone, which is believed to be the Touch Diamond2 for Verizon, has been spotted proudly wearing its FCC badge, so we hope launch is now a step closer to becoming a reality. We are now pretty enthusiastic about this guy, as we have recently heard that Big Red will be offering the handset with a larger 3.6-inch touchscreen, instead of the original 3.2-inch one. Do you feel like getting the Verizon Touch Diamond2?

I hate these stupid names they're giving for phones. Im fine with the Touch Diamond2 and not the Whitestone.

It won't be called the Whitestone, just like the Touch Pro2 won't be called the Rhodium W.

Verizon doesn't need to give it to us, since they never usually do that, but they do need to give it to their employees so one of them can take a little picture and post it somewhere on the internet.
