Ive wondered about this since so long. What will be the immediate benefits to "majority" consumers with 5G tech? What is it that consumers are missing currently? I see a lot of my friends getting speeds of about 50mbps and more with current LTE technology. Which is good enough for almost everything they need to do. I mean will 5G make faster speeds cheaper. I don't see this in the near future. Sure some folks will benefit from this but my question is what would majority normal folk benefit from this. I hope someone with some telecommunications knowledge can shed some light for us readers.
