Verizon retiring the Samsung Fascinate

0. phoneArena posted on 04 Aug 2011, 02:55

The Samsung Fascinate has apparently reached End of Life with Verizon, as it has a telling stamp "Retired" on the listing, and has disappeared from the online store. Hopefully this means a Samsung Galaxy S II launch is imminent...

OK. Why wouldn't I just get this and cyanogenmod instead of the new galaxy? Will the faster processor and better screen really make me happier? I prefer 4" to 4.3" screen just for my pocket. (I am one of those people that thinks phones and tablets shoud not be the same size!).

The new galaxy S2 has a better screen, front facing camera, more RAM, faster processor, better camera, (thinner or 4G (one or the other), new software, will be upgraded to newer software in the future, better video recording, most likely more memory.
