Verizon pushes YouTube app to BlackBerry Storm
Owners of the BlackBerry Storm 9530 might find something surprising on their screen after the next reboot. Verizon has started to push a YouTube app to the device. For some Storm users, this is nothing new because the same app has been available as a download for months. Those who didn't download the player from Google were able to view videos using the YouTube mobile web site. While Verizon has sent out the icon just to Storm users for now, we would expect that other well endowed 'Berry models in Big Red's line-up, like the Tour-will get similar treatment shortly. Interestingly, other carriers like Vodafone had launched their version of the Storm with the YouTube app already on the display.
