Before Android and during the transitional years between WinMo to Blackberry, WinMo phones were often over $300 on 2 year contracts.... Phone companies are competing with entry level iPhones at $200 otherwise I think you'd have seen more phones over $200. LTE is new, fast, more expensive for now, and something Apple can't offer....

So was Thunderbolt and Charger was even higher. This is better than Tbolt in battery, screen and HDMI.

LG hardware in general is not up to par with HTC and Samsung. Also LG is always last with upgrading their phones to a new OS. I am still waiting for Droid Bionic.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Droid Bionic is NOT going to be released at all.
I visited a website called phonedog.com and said it has been cancelled and will be replaced by the Targa.
DROID Bionic cancelled, to be replaced by Targa. I know that when you search that website that it still shows the Droid Bionic is still avail. but I did searching on other websites and it showed it had been cancelled.

"UPDATE: The folks at Droid-Life have also heard that the Bionic may be getting the axe. However, another insider by the name of blackmanx is reporting that all of this cancellation news is nonsense and that the Bionic is, in fact, "well on track for the expected release date.""

it would've been great if it had kept Stock Android like it had at CES and it hadn't been "Binged" even i would have taken a look at it if it had those things changed about it.

enough with the bionic. itll just be motojunk anyway. keep waiting for your 4G phone while time passes by. then youll realize the wait was not really worth losing out the time on 4G and you should have just went with an earlier phone.

My prediction: This phone will be a dud. Netflix app being advertised on it will help as well as the fact that LTE competition isn't strong on VZW yet. The buggy performance of the Samsung Charge and horrendous battery life of the Thunderbolt provide a window for LG to do well but with the current speed of advancement like it is, by Fall much better phones will come along. So, not only will LG need to over come an already poor reputation in the Android game (Ally and Vortex), they will need to have a phone that runs really smooth in order to withstand the onslaught of Dual-Core LTE phones which customers looking for high end devices are well aware of.... That's my take anyway.
