Verizon launches new prepaid service - INpulse

Verizon Wireless launched its new prepaid wireless service, called INpulse. The new service, which is available as from today, offers Verizon's customers:

  • unlimited INCalling to other Verizon Wireless customers
  • unlimited night calling (after 9 PM) to anyone for $0.99 a day – consumers are charged only when they use it
  • daytime calls to non-Verizon customers for 10 cents per minute
  • calls to Canada and Mexico for extra $0.20 per minute
  • calls to other available destinations for extra $0.50 per minute
  • TXT Messages for $0.05 to send or receive

There are two INpulse compatible phones available at present: Kyocera KX 414, available for $99.99, and LG VX3200 available for $129.99. Each INpulse Package includes $50 worth of airtime.
