Why do u android loving fools get some upset over the iphone? It must be because you know it is a better phone.

Only one person mentioned Android. I would take any smart phone over an iPhone due to cost and the lack of features. You bring up Android because you fully know that Android is much better but you have to defend your overpaying for a shit ass iPhone so you dont then call yourself a tool.

@djlegacy2k5, I can understand your concern and can agree with most of your post. however, I think it's a little harsh to call these people "pathetic". @BS, I think djlegacy2k5 was a little harsh in calling buyers of the iPhone pathetic. But I do call the iPhone a trend that has fed off the renewed interest of the younger generation. I get tired of posting this same thread but I feel my opinion is not shy from the reality. Bernie babies, furbies, tickle me elmos, pet rocks, hula hoops. I could go on. The Apple iPhone falls into the category of above because, it has been fueled by continual interest from people that must have what everyone's talking about. The iPhone is kept alive by the cult following of people that originally purchased the first iPhone. It has now bled into luring the inquisitive. Because the iPhone was released on one carrier, subscribers of other carriers have lusted on having what they couldn't have on their carrier. This keeps the elevated interest alive. If the iPhone had been offered on multiple carriers from the start, we would indeed be looking at a different aspect of how the iPhone is perceived. After awhile, People do grow bored of having something once everyone has gotten possession of the same product. As long as the want is still here, the iPhone will continue to pump interest into it. This is why the products of infatuation and fad I mentioned died after the hype. Everyone obtained what was a rage. Now it is no longer relevant. The iphone's current rage, will be it's weakness once fully integrated among the world. Because, in reality, it really falls short of the open platform that most of the population actually supports. All senses get lost in the heat of passion and once the passion subsides, senses return. Well, what about Android? Android is not of the same hype. Android is of an entity in which has become the standard of the population of all age groups. It is integrated across many more hardware choices which is reflective of the user's personality."Customization" if you will. And without the need to modify. John B. I John B.

I have the Droid x and just bought the Iphone for verizon my droid can do way more than the iphone but I also have to reset it a lot. I'm selling the iphone on ebay right now cause people are paying crazy money for it. When iphone 5 comes out I will get it just so I don't have the bugs that my droid x does. I want a phone that works and I'm not always messing with.

hey i respect the iPhone and Apple in the way that they offer, which to me is a challenge to keep Google and Android on their toes. ^^ i'll admit that the iPhone 4 is some impressive hardware but haven't liked the apple os since i played with the first version (granted i haven't since then but... i still love Android ^^).

I dont care what anybody says. Ever since the IPhone came out, there has been a phone every or almost every month that has tried to compete with the Iphone. Many have suceeded, yes. But at the end of the day the IPhone is still a great phone!

The best thing Apple have done was to be on the best and most reliable network...Verizon...but i still wouldn't buy it because I think android devices still a lot better than IOS and with the new 4gphone ....HTC THUNDERBOLT AND MOT BIONIC on Verizon line up you would be too da da da not to sign up with verizon. STOP HATING ON THE IPHONE, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN DONT BUY IT. RESPECT OTHERS PREFERENCE.
