Moto is stupid for dumping the camera key. Some of us actually like that.

That may be true, but the reality of it is that motorola poorly designed the camera key. Working in a verizon retailer I see more droid x's where the camera key has popped out as the phone gets older. It seems like motorola decided it was cheaper to scrap the key to save money and headaches from faulty camera keys.

I didnt care for it. but that should have been the least of the worries. there were a few other things that should have been done to improve this phone, although rather minor changes, would have made this more or less the perfect phone.

-the sensors next to the ear piece should be covered by the phone glass, and not flimsey plastic like they are
-the four buttons at the bottom should be touch sensitive and not that buttons like they are
-trim down that obnauctious camera hump on the back a little bit.

besides that, the dual core along with higher resolution screen would make this phone amazing, especially for those of us who do not have 4G LTE around us at all.

The retail price is actually only $449.99 in line with the new Verizon pricing for phones since they have done away with one year contracts.
