Users report iPhones 6 and 6s turning off by themselves, cause not yet identified

Fans and users of the Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s devices have reported that after updating to the new iOS 9.0.2, their handsets have started acting cranky on random occasions. Apparently, the phones will decide to turn themselves off — no matter if the user is currently operating the device, or it's just on standby — and the only way to fix them is to perform a hard-restart (hold down the home and power buttons for as many seconds as it takes for the Apple logo to reappear on the screen).

You think that's really the cause? That would be a major issue....

If it's an issue then the legendary dragon 810 has found it's heir to the flaming throne.

Yeah SD810 throttle up to 50% Exynos up to 40% but at least they dont shutdown the phone. Also both of those never experience slowdown in any app or game or freezes...

Overheating issues? Why hasn't anyone tried to heat test iphone 6s in reviews? Oh I forgot, media spin doctors.

They say "The suggested solutions are two – reset all your settings (Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings) and use the phone for a while in this manner. If it doesn't help, take the more drastic measure – factory reset the iPhone and choose "Set up as new iPhone". The latter is a pain in the a$$, especially for those who have tons of apps".. and they score it a 9.3.. Hmph... Bad PA.. Bad PA..

Because Apple provides guidelines on how will you review the product, if you don't follow that, they wont send any more review units to you.

Even iJustine ( a decently popular apple-fanatic youtuber ) has had her iPhone 6s Plus's home button get stupid hot and it refused to turn on. There's definitely some quality control going on with Apple's phones this year and they really need to get on their game.

EvERy year.. they doesn't have any QC

84. discharge unregistered

Never did they have no clue on QC!! Just out for profit not the buyer

There are always a few units. Remindss me when the galaxy s6 launched units came with faulty screens

True, all products have some units that have defects. Though there are people who say that "my iPhone is perfect, this must be created by insecure fandroids" and it's getting annoying. If you get a no-defect iPhone, good for you, but that doesn't mean that's the case for everyone.

I never heard anything about it and I watch these things like a hawk. You mean the GS6 edge devices with micro scratches?
