Tech reseller shows iPhones keep most of their value after a year

British tech reseller website muscMagpie released data about the average value of smartphones a year after their release, showing that iPhones bring back the most buck.

It was being sold for $299 (16GB) when new. In my country a used one (16GB) now costs $78. That's -74% in 4 years.

Thank goodness I am at a place in my life where a Phone's value a year or so later does not matter and I can simply buy the flagship I want and giveaway the one one I am leaving. Now if we are talking houses, THAT is where I am concerned about value retention.

Still use i7 ans s7, don’t see the point upgrade phone lately. Try iphone X then go back the i7.
