I don't know why Samsung always releases similar spec'd hardware from before. If this is the top flagship tablet from Samsung for 2012, then they need a better screen resolution such Asus and other manufacturers are going to come out with later this summer, 1980x1080 at least.

Dont worry. It's just a little improvement from the first prototype in MWC2011, not the final item. GS3 had had various versions before SS released.

The only time I'm going to get an android or windows tablet is when the screen has a pixel density that matches the new ipad, and when the battery lasts a lot longer, as much as I love android, the tablet experience with Ics isn't on par to that of the new Ipad simply because of the screen. Apple has got the tablet experience nailed, because of the screen, when you improve the screen you improve the user experience dramatically!
I've been on an ipad 3 and compared it to the Asus transformer prime and at the moment i'd pick the ipad 3 because of its display, i may be sounding a bit like an isheep, But here me out. A tablet is operated by a massive screen, its what you're looking at all the time whilst using it, so the experience is increased when you make the display better!

So yeah, my dream tablet would be an Asus transformer with a screen pixel density of 264ppi or better, and it would be very nice if it dual booted windows 8 and android, and i mean full windows 8 witch is compatible with legacy programs! That would be perfect!

My Galaxy Note phone, is off the CHART FOR PURE CRISP COLORFUL DISPLAY 285ppi. Can you believe they are doing a Galaxy Note phone 2? With even higher res. Guess they are worried about the new LG? But the difference between the Note phone with Super Amoled HD and the Note 10 Tablet with the same 1280x800 is the format of Super PLS. Samsung uses this Super PLS in their commerical monitors of 40" which cost up to $5000. Funny thing is, the Super PLS is cheaper to build then IPS? So my long winded point is, I am sure that if they were worried about the graphics, they must have an ACE up their sleeve on the display. We won't be disapointed.Note phone is 12.3 square inches and the 10 tablet is 42.5 square inches. So the Note tablet is actually 3.45 times larger then the phone. Since the human can only see 300ppi Sammy will come through for us.Samsung has in most cases defied the math and seems to show your eye what it needs to see. I also own an Asus and the clean IPS display with the pure white back ground is perfect for reading for hours, which is saying a lot for a back lite screen. Think camera, MP don't always mean a better image capture, lots of other factors, same with tablet displays. Just MHO
