"Powerful" have to take a back seat for efficiency I'm sure. From qcom's A57 implementation for SD810 right now, I'd say we have some serious problems here in light of just now highlighted Sony's issue w/ Z4's SD810 tweaking. And useless to talk about Samsung's nice surprise of success w/ Exynos 7420 that's off limits to outsiders as it stands currently. To put it short qcom really dropped the ball here for both SD615 and 810 with only 410 that's seemingly to be the only A53 play that's free of heating problems. I get what you mean though others than qcom right now should go back to the drawing board and pull something out of A57's hat but we're just 7 months away from this year's Nexus. In the meantime I'd rather that any selected OEMs Huawei included to do the crazy dance and go for Moorefield/Z3580 yeah Zenfone 2's top SKU instead which isn't gonna happen because they're gonna push for Kirin for sure....unless if they do have a 940 or some other trump card up their sleeve.

Kirin 930 will be used only if Huawei is going for Nexus tablet. If its a Nexus mobile, then the most high end chip is Kirin 950 to be unveiled on Huawei D3 by June/July.

1st of all the lot of you here need to exercise calm. NONE of this so far are set in stone yet if ever if true. 2nd I don't think Google are that dumb enough to pick a Kirin SoC w/ a way weaker GPU than MT's middling 6732/52 (which tbh I don't even have a problem with, if they go for MT instead) when they can really avoid it and 3rd quit w/ the "we can't haz no Chinese Nexus" syndrome already. If it can be done in a true Nexus fashion then there's nothing to worry about unless if El Goog plans to get lazy and put Huawei 90% in charge on all code side while they just do 10% due dilligence. Which is hard to imagine since factory images afterwards has to come from AOSP so there has to be transparency there.

Poor Nexus 6. Already a thing of the past.

Feel like they should of signed up with AMD instead of Mediatek. In my opinion: Imagination Technology PowerVR > ARM Mali > Qualcomm Adreno.
