The Facebook event went off without any adverse issues. Mark Zuckerberg and the gang pulled off a great presentation...

Your comment tells me 2 things! LOL!
1. Nobody should ever tell you anything because you have no idea what a secret is!
2. You must be a SamSucker.

1. LMAO, Since you are obviously a m0r0n, let me explain you this. Keeping a product secret is different from denying a product existence publicly. Zukerberg could have simply said he couldnt comment on rumors instead of denying altogether then.
2.look who's talking? An iTroll?

I would try this for sure. A virtual treat for people who stay connected. Thanks to Mr.CEO of Facebook.

I noticed there are so many anti-facebookers here. I do understand the dislike for this UI. To each its own. I'd like to try the phone out when it's available as well.

But what's wrong FB other than girls ranting stuff? That also happens a lot on Twitter. If you you are concerned about privacy issues, then dont use the internet.

Very Web OS influenced and it looks rather smooth. Can't make my mind up on this one yet but it seems to be sort of like ADW launcher built over top of Android. Cool concept but is it actually useful?

So they created a facebook app which runs as an overlay on top of Android. Was this really worthy of an event? Don't people usually root android to remove these kind of apps?

Or install an alternate launcher. I use Nova Prime. I can't see what Facebook Home will offer me that would make it worth my while to stop using Nova Prime.

What if I'm not connected to the net at any given moment? Does the home screen die or does it keep feeding me with the older posts?

Not that I'm gonna use it, but I have some friends who may be interested in, as they are literally addicted to facebook. I may spread the news as they do not follow the news since they preoccupied with what's going on facebook only. ^o^

Non bad, but that's too much Facebook without wanting it for me. I'll stick with the Facebook widgets.

Twitter is for stalking celebrities and reading them spew nonsense, nothing else. FB is a better option if you want to stay connected with far relatives or friends.

If only there were a phone or OS that already did this but featured other social networks and phone information. Oh wait, there is and it's called windows phone 8.

Wouldn't even care. Doesn't it causes any privacy concern? Just imagine one fine day your family member or a friend borrows your phone and gets a whole sneak peak of your facebook wall without any authorisation. The person may even use the chat on your behalf and may scandalise your other friends on your behalf and you wont even be aware of it. how sick is that?
