Untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S demoed on video
Remember when we told you that an untethered jailbreak for A5 iDevices, namely the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2, is only days away from being released to the public? Well, that has yet to happen, but while we wait, here is a video showing a jailbroken iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1 with Cydia installed.

All of the obstacles in hackers' way have already been hurdled, so it is only a matter of time until a jailbreaking tool for the common man is released. There is something very important that you need to know, however, if you intend on jailbreaking your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 once the said tool is released.

It is being reported that the exploit which allows for the jailbreak to be performed has been patched in iOS 5.1, so you will need to get your iDevice updated to iOS 5.0.1, if you have not done so already. That is necessary because once iOS 5.1 is out, downgrading to iOS 5.0.1 won't be possible, and neither will be performing the untethered jailbreak until a new exploit is found.

With that out of the way, feel free to check out the video below. Is anyone thinking of jailbreaking once the tool gets released?
