Unlocked LG G7 ThinQ goes a full $200 off list to $550 for a limited time
With a “notchy” LCD screen in tow, a “modest” two rear-facing cameras, and a 3,000 mAh battery, the LG G7 ThinQ is obviously far less attractive than both the no-notch OLED V35 ThinQ and triple rear shooter-sporting V40 ThinQ.

But the slightly older phone is naturally more affordable too, typically fetching $750 unlocked. Of course, with the LG V40 ThinQ marked down from $950 to $750 while still on pre-order, the G7 ThinQ needed a substantial discount of its own to stand out from this very crowded pack of somewhat underrated flagships.

Enter Best Buy’s special “2 Day Sale”, set to wrap up Saturday at 11:59 p.m. CT, which brings the list price of the unlocked LG G7 ThinQ down to $549.99. This is far from the first time we’ve seen the handset sold at a great discount, but it’s a new all-time low price for the no-contract, non-Fi variant.

Compatible with both GSM and CDMA networks, the 6.1-incher can be freely activated on T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint, including a standard 12-month warranty, as well as complimentary second-year coverage with registration over at LG’s dedicated website.

If you’re willing to look past the uninspired design and less-than-stellar LCD panel of the G7 ThinQ, you’ll find that the specifications are not too shabby, from a state-of-the-art Snapdragon 845 processor to dual 16MP rear snappers, premium “boombox” sound, IP68 water and dust protection, and a guaranteed Android Pie update not too far on the horizon.

The reviews have been solid and now the price is right, so what are you waiting for?
