UTStarcom introduced its entry-level CDM7025 clamshell

UTStarcom officially introduced its new entry-level mobile phone - CDM7025 – at CTIA 2006 Wireless tradeshow. The device has a compact clamshell design. It measures 3.5 x 1.9 x 0.8 in (89 x 48 x 20 mm) and weighs 3.2 oz (90 g). UTStarcom CDM7025 was approved by FCC in February this year. It comes in a dual-mode anda tri-mode version, one for Verizon Wireless and one for Sprint PCS. The main features include:

  • 1.5-inch color STN main display
  • 6MB Flash and 8MB RAM memory
  • Audio player (MP3, MIDI, QCELP, EVRC support)
  • GPSOne
  • Voice activated dialing
  • Built-in speakerphone
