If they are giving you 50% off the price. Then plain and simply these are not selling as great as Apple is claiming. But I guess at a price of $199 outright, then it should sell a lot better.

I don't think people realize that this iPhone is called "Special Edition" for a reason! Not that many people will go from a 4.7 inch and higher back to a 4 inch screen... This one was made SPECIFICALLY for those who have held their iPhone 5s and lower up until this point. - and I'm an example of that: switched from a 4s to SE on launch day. Another thing is Apple reporting that in 2015, when the 6 and 6 plus were out already, it sold over 30 million 4 inch iPhones!... Clearly, there is a demand for these, but obviously not as high as for bigger phones.

That's actually a pretty good deal. Considering this thing looks much better than the 6/6S
