With the newly introduced mobile web site for the U.S. Postal Service, your mailman won't have to worry about bites, just bytes. With the mobile site, those with web access on the go can find a local post office, tracking and delivery confirmation, get that zip code you need, and more. The press release mentions that the USPS is working on applications for smartphones like the iPhone and Blackberry models, which would take advantage of the unit's GPS. The web address is m.usps.com. Now you can use your cellphone to save trips to the post office for mundane things. Just don't lick the back of your phone.
