After its no-holds-barred holiday offer of every phone for free, U.S. Cellular insists on staying likeable by slashing the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Android 2.2 tablet down to $199. Just for comparison, Verizon is still sitting on these things for $599, but on a month-to-month option.
This price is only achievable if you sign up a two-year contract to use the more expensive 5GB monthly data plan for $54.99, and with a $100 mail-in rebate to boot, but it is $150 less than the best contract price we've seen the tablet offered for so far.
