Tim Cook gets his leadership moment, but is it an Apple moment?

Unless you've been actively avoiding the Internet and news in general (in which case, how did you get here?), you should know by now that Apple has taken a stance against the FBI in a case over whether or not the government can compel Apple to rewrite iOS software in order to allow law enforcement to access a locked device. Rather, I should say Tim Cook has taken a stand, because it's unclear how much backing he has within his own company...

Apple employees are just that, employees. Paid to say and do and think like and for Apple. They have personal sides that when not at Apple may simply state "no comment" or "I don't know" or even say, "I know from the media just as much about the situation as you." And call it a day.

They are real life lemmings, the job application for apple is truly disgusting. But shout out to Tim Cook for looking out for the people and not crumbling to government pressure.

Apple workers get less benefits than fellow Silicon Valley workers - for example unlike Google and Facebook, Apple offer no free meals and no free snacks (except for free apple at caferteria!). I guess Apple would be best place to work for someone who only eat apples. LOL.

Chance of apple winning this one is slim. I said apple will yield at the end.

It's one thing if the government would use this for one phone, but we all know how that goes. This fear based society crap seems like a horrible way to live, fearing that the sky is going to fall on you instead of living life and enjoying it. To each is own, though. I do hope Apple can hold out though, much as I don't care for their stuff, I am glad they are taking a stand on this.

#### I support Tim Cook's decision 100%. But if he doesn't respond to the FBI's request, all terrorists around the world will buy iPhones !! ####
