This is Android 5.0 Lollipop running on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play edition

At this point, we've already seen the newest and sweetest version of Google's platform run on the hottest Samsung devices flagships from the past year or so. Yet, a notable device has been omitted - every purist's dream, the Google Play Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S4, which runs stock and unaltered Android...

Plus I should mention how basically all carriers are doing buy one get one free deals with Samsungs phones. The note 4 does indeed lag, maybe not so much as the S5 but it does indeed lag. I've played with my friends and it definitely stutters from time to time.

Not multi Window in any iteration. Samsung multi Window. LG Chocolate? Just stop. That experience would've been horrible and you know it. I don't care about sales. I was just saying those are factors that keep a flagship relevant, especially with development. I hope I never hear anything about Justin Bieber again in the comment section. He's a whole other kind of terrible. Please stop with the S5 hate. It's OK to dislike it but it's also OK to love it. Which alot of my friends and family do . And since when was getting an outstanding phone for free a bad thing. All PHONES LAG. COMPUTERS LAG. That's realistic. Who cares if a great phone has micro stutters every once in a while. You have forgotten that tech has always been about advancing and Samsung is doing that. Total subject change: I will NEVER buy a phone without a SD slot and removable battery. EVER

Trey, Trey, you dont seem like a troll or a bad guy, but you have to realize the facts here. You have to be blind to not understand that the reason why Samsung sells the most handsets is because of marketing and promotional deals. You have to be blind to not see how for awhile Samsung has not changed or has only made minor changes to its design philosophy and its UI. You have to be blind to not see the lack of quality, and usefulness in the majority of "features" that touchwiz provides. You most definitely have to be blind if you cant see that the HTC One M7/M8, Z2-3, LG G2, or even the G3 are significantly smoother in day to day operations. You can say that your phone is as smooth as butter but when tech sites all around the web (including Anandtech -which is run buy folks with PHD's) mention lag, more lag than the competitors.

Craap? half baked features? oh please tell how you enjoy the feature in your pure-android-ios-imitation? even though I have had a GS5 for maybe 6 months now and never had bloat or whatsoever, even if it will someday lag, I'd rather have a phone with awesome stuff inside that lags sometimes than a phone that doesn't lag and has nothing. I jumped from ios to android specifically to Samsung for all the things they put in it, I want to enjoy my 650$ I pay yearly to the maximum and feel there's some effort behind it. not a copy paste OS that all phones have with a theme on top. I would get ios over pure android and if it wasn't for the superior unique features touchwiz has and of course removable battery and micro sd I wouldn't have switched.

Sony's phones are so boring its not even funny. Mine doesn't stutter. Giving you the benefit of the doubt tho, Note 4 destroys the Z2. I won't even do that to you.

Ooohh OK. Ugly is subjective though right? Specs and features aren't though.

meh man, TW in my GS5 looks twice as better than your purple brown orange limited theme, and the features I have in it are a plus, multi window air view smart sensors ultra power saving ... etc. and I got my GS5 at 200$ cheaper than your Z2, now your Z2 is a 100$ cheaper than my GS5. what the h*ll?

In Finland S5 was never cheaper than Z2. Now Z2 is about 50€ cheaper. And what do you mean by that? Sony has had the theme engine for over a year already. I can change it the way I want it's Android loo. But simple is fast.

TW features are awesome, the way they designed the interface as a whole is what blows.

This Android is getting uglier and uglier with time. That much colors is crazy. Looks like phone is on some lsd... They start remind me on Apple, fcking up everything and inventing some idiotic names. Material design... Material my ass.

What did any of that mean? That TW sucks? What else is new. I'm glad to say that millions of consumers won't care what we the TECHIES think. I think it looks nice if I do say so myself.
