GRAB IT HERE

Want to hear about the newest deal? Well, here's the thing -- DailySteals.com is giving you the chance to snatch an AT&T-branded BlackBerry PRIV for $299. Hey, this qualifies as a deal no matter how you look at it!

That's quite the discount if you consider that AT&T is still selling the phone for $639.99. That's a bit pricey, considering that BlackBerry is officially selling the PRIV for $403.99 on Amazon right now.

The deal will be up for 5 days, meaning that once July 18 comes, you will no longer be able to benefit from it. That will be too bad, but you're smart and wouldn't miss the deal, right? Check out our review of the BlackBerry PRIV right here.

Why do you need a fingerprint scanner? Am curious about the opinion since to me is something kind of like having face unlocking active: kind of cool but overall useless. If it's for encryption purposes in the Android world you don't get better than this and black phone.

It's a great handset. I just recently ordered the GSM unlocked one to use as opposed to my unlocked AT&T variant so I can get the updates pushed directly from BlackBerry and bypass this carrier nonsense. Carriers absolutely suck when it comes to updates.

Lol, I can dig it. I have a bunch of phones as well but really wanted to take advantage of the updates being pushed straight from BlackBerry with the GSM unlocked one. Thinking of selling my iPhone 6s Plus 64 gig that's sitting in my drawer collecting dust to make up for the cash I spent on the PRIV, lol.

I guess ATT were so confident about Priv and made millions of units in their brand name ; but it failed and now they are trying to sale it on cheap everywhere every week. Sorry blackberry.

Seems like it. The Priv was too big of a gamble. Releasing it to AT&T exclusively was a big mistake along with the ridiculous price and not being universally unlocked.

T-Mobile got the Priv as well...it was not exclusive

So did Verizon. It was released to AT&T for a short exclusivity period here in the U.S., but after that, T-Mobile and Verizon started carrying it. At the same time of the short exclusivity period, the PRIV was available GSM unlocked on shop.blackberry and amazon.com, as well as being available at carriers abroad. Some people are just ignorant of these facts and therefore don't mention them.

Mxyzptlk is still correct. It was RELEASED exclusively on AT&T. Verizon didn't get it until 5 (you read that right, FIVE) months after its initial release.

Reread my post. NOWHERE did it say that AT&T DIDN'T have exclusivity to the PRIV for a period of time. And T-Mobile got it before Verizon got it.

Actually he's right to call you out because that's exactly what I meant.

You would agree with anything as long as it was against me, so what you think is right or wrong is completely invalid. Especially since he obviously didn't read what I posted.

Thank you. At least someone knows what they're talking about. +1.

I find it both ironic and hilarious that someone that created their account just to troll BlackBerry is calling me a troll.

5 months isn't short especially in the smartphone market. By the time Verizon got the Priv, it was too late. You knew what I meant so spare me the nonsense.

Don't get salty because you don't know how to articulate. That's your problem, not mine. And what I said still stands. There were PRIV units available for AT&T, and as GSM unlocked handsets, all at the same time.

You do realise this isn't an at&t deal and that at&t sells it at 663$ you are aware of this right? Please say that you were joking before you end looking like an ignorant.

He most likely does not, and Mxy decided to ride the bandwagon of ignorance.

I don't think he was talking about me, so stop trying to bring my name up in your arguments.

I don't care if he was talking about you or not. I brought your name up to make a point, which I did. I don't care if you don't like the fact that I did.

I don't care what an idiot troll like you had to say, either.

Nice to see the price of the PRIV is still coming down. I have an AT&T branded one, but it's unlocked. Will be receiving my GSM unlocked one from BlackBerry shortly. Should have went the route to begin with, considering GSM unlocked handsets are the world standard and it can be used on any GSM carrier and take advantage of full network features. I'll also be able to get updates pushed out by BlackBerry themselves, bypassing the carriers.
