This Huawei P20 Lite video review is your best look at Android on a wider notch

Here's an interesting development - Huawei isn't even trying to hide one of its yet-unannounced newcomers, the midrange P20 Lite. After its full specs sheet leaked thanks to Polish retailers, now the phone has appeared in the flesh in stores. Yes, one guy walked into a shop in Italy, and found the P20 Lite chillaxing on the shelves with a big bad "New" sign in front of it.

Yes, the phone does have a notch at the top, a dual camera without the Leica branding, and a finger scanner on the back, just like the leaks and rumors suggested. Moreover, the P20 Lite was already on sale there, at 370 EUR, again, just as speculated. What else is left for the aspiring Italian tech bloggers, but to grab one, and do thorough video review/unboxing videos of sorts. As for the specs, it employs a 5.84" LCD (yes, notch-y LCD) screen with 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution, returning the robust 423ppi pixel density, unless you count the top screen cutout. 

The notch has allowed Huawei to keep the dimensions of the P20 Lite very, very compact at 5.85 x 2.80 x 0.29 inches (148.6 x 71.2 x 7.4 mm), with a rather bearable 5.11 oz (145 g) of weight. A 16MP/2MP dual camera combo on the back, and a 3000mAh battery round it up as one of the affordable harbingers of the Android notch with a more than decent specs sheet. Speaking of the notch, things get quite cluttered up there in the status bar because of it, but it doesn't seem to take away from the interaction too much of anything.
