The week before Mother's Day, a new 'Shot on iPhone' ad celebrates the bond between mother and child
With Mother's Day due to arrive a week from today, Apple paid homage to that special bond between mothers and their children in the latest ad for the 'Shot on iPhone' series. These are photographs taken by iPhone users and are meant to show the quality of the pictures that are shot using the iSight camera on the back of the handset.

Apple bumped the rear camera to 12MP on the Apple iPhone 6s, while increasing the front-facing FaceTime camera to 5MP from 1.2MP. There is speculation that we will see a dual camera set-up on the back of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus.

Besides using it for television, Apple has employed the Shot on iPhone campaign on billboards, websites and print ads. You can check out Apple's latest promotion of the iPhone camera by clicking on the video below.
