Very true. I do worry about future proof and iOS 10 for those who buy this. I have the 12.9, so I think I'm good for the next couple of years.

Honestly can't remember the last time I was excited about an Apple event. If the iPhone 7 is this boring (which I doubt mind) I'd seriously worry about Apple's future regardless of how much they have in the bank.

I was going to buy one but since they only offered it with 2GB of RAM I will not be buying one. If I am forking out $1K for a device with LTE service and 128GB storage it should at least come with 4GB of RAM. Lost sale to me. Will keep older iPad Mini until new upgrade comes along

So basically Apple released essentially a standard annual upgrade for the 9.7" iPad giving it as you'd expect some upgraded features, but because the stick the "Pro" name at the end they charge a lot more...
