I agree with Cnour. Android is super jank when it comes to this which is why nobody uses it. Apple will make it well known and popular like they did with finger print scanners because we all know the Motorola Atrix wasn't cutting it back when it was out.

When it comes to the finger print scanners, Yes. They waited the technology to mature and implemented it well. But lately they ran out of ideas or the usual magic u guys speak so highly about has ran out. Like when they launched bigger plus varient. It was just a big iPhone. They didn't utilised the extra screen space at all. In other word they didnt do anything better. I did expected something good but was disappointed. Anyway i hope they don't ditch the fingerprint scanner in favour of face detection. I know many Apple fans and tech sites will write wonderful article defending Apple's move and how wise it was also Apple will put one hell of a marketing but i prefer choice. I hope the rumoured fingerprint scanner under the screen is true along with the face detection.

At least it will become easier to unlock phones of criminals. Just hold it in their faces.

Not an original feature but the again Apple is adopting what is the normal evolution of tech ( knock knock, from LG, to wake the device). This is simply smart stay implemented by Samsung a while back - and before anyone says Apple will make it better- yes that maybe true for Apple devices but Samsung nor LG have not stood still either and are still improving and adding features as well ( Active display etc..).

They can't really make smart stay work any better. It works perfectly already.

We could link thousands of articles about people having an issue with their iPhone. Your attempts to troll are so bad it amuses me to be honest.

Especially 1 single user as his link shows having the issue. What a child lol

I understand your disdain for All things Samsung but this one link with one isolated user having a difficulty with his devices does not mean the feature does not work. I can also post links from Apples forum showing one isolated user having a hard time with Touch ID. Does it mean it does not work well for countless others? In my experiences ( and countless others) Smart view, stay, Scroll "just work" Now cogitate this no amount of your disdain for Samsung will cause them any pain and vise versa for any Samsung fanboy for Apple. These multi-national corporations, their boards, CEOs, CTOs, COOs, vice presidents etc.. will rank in millions and live great lives with their family and friends while fanboys continue to passionately hate on a faceless corporate entities making not one single cent. Why not simply get the device you like and just state why it works for you. Others may not agree its good for them but that's what it means to exercise our freedom of choice.

He's got to alleviate the pain of Samsung having the highest rated phones in the world somehow. So, he goes looking for anything negative he can find. Here, I'll use his "logic". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tndAY2kRTeA The iPhone 7 is super laggy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWrQ-9mlyD0 That's two! Twice as many!

So sad for teddy, he calls Samsung perfect then has to deflect in order to avoid the pain when I (as always) feed him his humble pie. I'll be enjoying my Apple Music teddy, enjoy Milk Music. Darn my stupidity, Samsung had to pull the plug on that. Enjoy your Google Music teddy!

Enjoy your Google Music teddy! ======================== samsung is perfect in a sense that no oem is perfect, including apple...if i had to choose between samsung and apple in order to survive, i would choose samsung bcuz they are more self reliant...apple on the other hand, even with their cash stash, needs many dancing partner to survive

I don't have to tell them anything. I have it activated on my S7 Edge. Works perfectly.

samsung has had this feature for about 5 yrs...and iphonies have called this a gimmick. so now apple will implement something similar and iphonies will praise it as usual LOL iphonies will never accept the fact that apple copies/stole someone else's feature, instead prefer to say apple did it better LOL

LOL at this big "innovation". I had it on the Galaxy S3 5 years ago. Now, I can't say I really used it. I tried it out for a couple of weeks and it did work, but I barely used it and decided to turn off the feature due to little use and to save battery life. But that doesn't take away from the fact that this is OOOOLD. Now, seeing how Apple is so evil, I wouldn't be surprised to see that users can't turn off the feature. Then in a few years they will force you to watch ads on games like in that episode of Black Mirror. They will be able to call it a feature and charge game developers a bunch of money to use that to make sure you don't look away from ads to say, get an extra life or coins or something, like in PVZ2.
