The iPad 5 shell gets assembled for the first time, thin and narrow (video)

We already got the aluminum backplate of the next generation iPad as well as its iPad mini-style front leak out, and now the two have been assembled together as a shell for your viewing pleasure by the Apple-centric Mac Otakara blog from Japan.
The dimensions are said to be 240x168x7.9 mm, meaning a thinner tablet with less bezel compared to the iPad 4's 9.50x7.31x0.37 inches (241.2x185.7x9.4 mm) dimensions.
The iPad 5 is expected to be much lighter, too, and the way Apple has achieved those svelte dimensions, welcoming its aluminum clad tablet in the sub-8mm club, is by using slimmer battery and display panels with more streamlined components, compared to what's in the iPad 4.
