Very surprised that the Note 3 did not win out against LG.

HTC One still. It\'s the best phone till date and the best smartphone of 2013.

hehehehe, u r so funny!! its even can't match the new flagships so how it will be the best??? its very good phone but cant be the best in any way.. its ur opinion only, but even when it was very new and should be the best, it couldn't sell good and now it will disappear, and HTC should bring the latest features..

Forget about killing. I just want solid competition out there. A sea of Galaxies and iPhones bores me to tears!

it will kill any one who will buy it with a heart attack!! when LG will never update ur plastic G2 for years and u see others flying with new updates, u will cry then die.. go kill ur self before u say it will kill others, it doesn't even have half of Z1 features, where is water and dust proof? where is the metal and glass materials? where is the best camera in the market? why it coping Samsung boring designs? why its made of cheap plastic? and why we will buy it with very high price if its much lesser than Z1??

Settle down, son. Hey, maybe you can read up on market share and carrier support and then get back to us all on why the Z1 will even make a tiny little dent in the Android market.

r u serious kid?? LG is becoming a good company now? its a shadow of Samsung and it will never innovate or do something more than copy Samsung, with worse quality, we all know that LG is the slowest in updating software, so why to fool readers?? plus u look very hurt because Z1 better in all aspects, but LG and Samsung will sell because there is million tasteless people like u choose non gorgeous devices like Z1 or HTC one, sales is not a prove so go sleep

I own an HTC. I may buy an LG or Motorola. I will never buy another Samsung, and the fact that everyone and their grandmother buys them makes me even less likely to. As for Sony, who knows who they pissed off, but my carrier has not offered an Xperia in 2 years, so the Z1 is moot. But raving fanboys like you are fun to play with.

its not about fan boy or not, im so impressed about what sony did with this Device, it take it to next level and differentiate it from the boring Korean million devices which have same design and concept, LG not doing something special, just added latest hardware but didn't impress me, after I see the camera features of the Z1, plus all in one features, I can say its the best..

But the fact is that it impressed YOU, not the masses. It's a tough thing to take when you realize other people have tastes and opinions that differ from yours.

You are indeed a fanboy, quite an obvious one, as someone has had owned an Xperia X10 and an LG Optimus 2X (currently on the HTC One) both the Z1 and G2 have their strong points, the most obvious being the LG having the bigger screen in a smaller and lighter body and OIS on the camera, the Z1 has the upper hand in the camera besides OIS and the better build quality. Besides both are running 4.2 right now and you are probably right about LG being a little bit late with updates as Sony has improved a lot in this regard.

I have the LG Optimus G and it received an upgrade from ICS to Jelly Bean. Every Android manufacturer has had a right of passage involving pushing out supposed \"smartphones\" using the old dumb phone model and expecting to succeed without providing any future updates. Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC, they\'re all guilty of this, but seem to have learned their lessons.

I\'m with the G2, but if there was an S800 version of the One then I\'ll consider.

I don't know why most people r haters for the companies who is doing best, how the world can be unfair like this? LG G2?? really? ok lets be fair and look closer, what is better about LG, and what better about the best: Z1... they r same processor, Ram, and other internals, differences: LG G2: Better by slimmer bizzles , little bigger screen, but we all know LG never update the Android, or maybe after 2 years!! so no way I buy this phone.. Xperia Z1: Better quality by million times, Glass and real metal frame made by one piece, which is very powerful, much better look than the copied design of LG from boring Samsung soap designs.. best mobile by water and dust resistant, 1.5 meter deep for more than 30 mins, LG cant even take a water splash!! much better Camera, by sensor size, Lens type and Bionz processor, it even defeat Nokia 1020 as we see today from the samples, better camera application by many things especially the manual settings, and we also know that sony UI is the simplest one and closest to orginal android, which means lighter, less problems, much faster updates.. and as the price is same, so why the hell me or any one will buy other than z1??? just for hating the brand? its very special brand and at least not coping any bad design or use very cheap plastic like Samsung and LG, why I will pay premium price for crap products? finally, if u read what I say!! Sony z1 better than the others by many aspects and this is the truth u like it or no!! its perfect and gathering all the powerful and rugged features with best camera in the market, so its my choice and should be every smart person choice, if u tell me its heavier than the others.. sure it will be, as its made of real materials, not of thin plastic which will be broken from first drop... wake up people!!

man, you\'re whining about people\'s phone choice?? really?? if they choose another phone besides Z1 are they making a bad decision?? how old are you?? are you gonna pay for their phones?? if they like plastic so what?? if they dont like the Z1 UI so what? I dont like stock android UI, but that doesnt mean is bad. you know that people have different opinions right?? All smartphones has its pros and cons. For you what you consider a pro i could consider it a con. I agree with you that the Z1 is the most beautiful, but it doesnt fill all of my needs. It fill yours. Nothing wrong with that right? you should wake up!!

The Moto X is the best android phone out there, as soon as you stop just looking at how many megapixels or megahertz a phone has and start to consider usability, pocketability, truly useful software features and UI smoothness.

well said, I believe most of the people who voted considered only the specs. When it comes to the best phone it\'s not just the specs, other factors contribute too. Firstly there is User experience, then there is developer support, Customer support from the OEM side, availability of quality accessories, price worth, etc.. Also releasing flagships from the same company every now and then will make the customer think about buying the phone in the first place. BUT IN THE END, it all comes down to user experience. What if you have a top tier quad core phone but a simple dual core phone can provide you with a smooth user experience and caters to all of your basic needs? if so then what is the use of having a top tier flagship phone?..

Thanks to all these people buying the stupid Note 3, I'm left with one phone that actually caters to my needs for a nice, big vibrant screen on a small form factor. With voice commands that actually work very well and gestures I actually care about, the Moto-X gets my vote. PS: The camera really isn't that bad.

I want to see the G2 succeed the way the S3 did, because this industry needs more strong players with strong carrier support. A Samsung monopoly on Android sales would be a shame.

My money is going to the Note 3. The biggest screen, S-Pen and hottest hardware get my vote.
