Hi, PA. What phones had this "multi-aspect sensor"? Since you said that the Z5 series are not the first to have one in mobile?

I beleive the nokia 808 pureview and 1020 has those type of sensor..

I'm still waiting for definitive proof that compact will have all the same camera, software, and picture options as the z5. That's where they have a chance to make a mark, not the big ass phone like everything else out there.

The compacts always had the same hardware and software as the normal only a smaller screen, resolution and battery. So I'm guessing this will be the same

The z5 only packs an 8.3 megapixel sensor When using the app called hardware info and spec device it shows 8.3 and camera fv5 and other 3rd party cameras won't go beyond 8.3 My z1 and z3 did so they probably took and 8 megapixel sensor and stuck in it that's kinda disappointing
