The Samsung S5050 is yet another elegant and affordable solution

Lately, Samsung is working its heart out to produce stylish sliders. After the S5200, the S6700 and the C5510, here comes the S5050, which is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera and a LED flash, microSDHC slot (up to 8 GB), 2.2-inch AMOLED display with support for 262k colors and touch-sensitive soft keys. Unfortunately, you will have to rely on EDGE for you online experiences. What’s interesting is that the Samsung S5050 has an interactive home screen that is going to change according to the calendar date and the birthday/holiday occurrences. In addition, there will be a special picture for Christmas, New Year and Valentine’s Day.

For now, there is only one color solution that we know of – black with pink, but we expect that other variants will come out too. The Samsung S5050 will launch in the summer at a price of about EURO 170.
