The Samsung Galaxy P30 will launch as part of the Galaxy A series after all

From what can be understood, the Galaxy P30 and P30+ do exist and are very much on the way. However, they will not be released under those names. Instead, the devices will be launched as part of Samsung’s newly-expanded Galaxy A series. Moreover, it’s now being claimed that Samsung will not be launching any Galaxy P smartphones. The reason behind this is unclear but it could have possibly been a last-minute decision. 

For those who aren’t aware, what was originally known as the Galaxy P30 will be made available to purchase in two storage configurations: 64GB and 128GB. These are then set to be coupled with 6GB of RAM and an unspecified Qualcomm processor. Also, in terms of a design, an Infinity Display will be present up front, and a glass panel complete with a vertical camera setup will adorn the rear. Unfortunately, the large Plus model mostly remains a mystery.

Regardless of the naming, both devices are still expected to go official sometime next month. Once this happens, Samsung is expected to follow in Huawei’s footsteps by offering the devices in a wide range of gradient colors.
