The Note 5 emerges victorious from our reader comparison, beats the Nexus 6P in all but one category

When talking phablets, it's always this one company that immediately springs to mind. Samsung. And that's all kinds of deserved, to be honest, for it was no other than the South Korean giant that truly popularized the category. What's even more impressive is that, in what is a rarity in any industry, it was the large corporation that was ahead of its fans, and not the other way around. So while those same fans were screaming for the size madness to stop, Samsung persevered, betting that phablets will form a big part of the industry's future. The bet paid off, big time...

Note 5 has one problem: it doesen't have multitasking. So I would choose nexus 6P of these two. Still I going to keep my current phone, because it's so new so no need to change it.

I think the Note 5 is better on much categories too, but I'd still choose the Nexus because of stock android, fast updates and probably more fluid...

Men, 6P feels way better to use. I don't like the software on the Note 5, and that's what you use every time you use the phone, so it just feels a little gross to look at. Nexus 6P is the top Android Phone of 2015 I think.

Stock Android is the only thing which is great in the Nexus devices. Nothing else matters in them.

The king is the natural choice. Is there any phone which can stand up against Note5?

The Lumia 950 XL, iris scanning, continuum, usb type-c, 20 MP Pureview camera, liquid cooling, polycarbonate body. Yes, the 950 XL handily beats the Note 5.

That's assuming the iris scanning actually works reliably, the 20 MP camera actually produces better pictures, the liquid cooling actually enables the Snapdragon 810 to perform better than the Exynos 7420, none of which has been objectively proven in real world comparisons. When they are proven, I (and I am sure many others) will agree with your conclusion. Until then, the Note 5 retains the crown.

That's because Touchwiz is still the worst skin ever created atop android. It might be marginally better than MIUI, but not much. Only Samsung and LG like to put massive skins atop android (HTC to a much smaller degree), whereas companies like Moto and Sony are leaving things mostly stock-looking. If moto made a new MotoX (2014) sized device with a snapdragon 8XX in it, and a great camera, they wouldn't be able to keep it on the shelves.

LG doesn't put as massive a skin like Samsung. The reason the word "Lagdroid" exists is primarily due to Samsung, however, most android devices lag over time anyways, Samsung just gets the worst of it.

How do they all know the screen and camera are better? I can see asking the rest of the questions because they are all a matter of opinion but the other two are basically facts and I'm sure none of these people have had the pleasure of trying both devices. I'm gonna have to call shenanigans on those two.

The camera is a tricky question - depends on your point of view. Overall colors and camera interface go to the Sammy, where detail and dynamic range go to the Nexus. Beyond that opinion is subjective - how you come away depends largely what kind of pictures one tends to take, as well as typical settings and time of day.

Oh man! I don't own any of these two phones but I was voting like hell for the note 5 by just knowing the specs and I wasn't wrong.
