The Lenovo K91 is a TV set that stands out with the fact that it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Of course, its interface is optimized for the spacious display. It is 55 inches in diagonal and...

I don't thinks it's as much being lazy as it is making it easier. I don't know about you but I have Comcast/Xfinity right now (swore I'd never go back but AT&T DSL is crap in my area) and their program guide is horrible...I normally use the app on my phone instead to change channel or find what I want to watch. Finding IU games can be a pain since there are like 8 channels it could be on and saying "watch the IU" game would be so much easier and quicker. This stuff makes me want to buy a new TV much more than the 3D stuff.

what are you smoking? this is the Future!
connect it to a wireless keyboard or gamepad and you have a all in one media-entertainment-communication portal!
This can kill the need for a PC for majority of users!
I saw this coming long ago and all I can say now is - finally.

I bet when iTV comes out with those features they'll go "This changes everything, your TV it is not just a TV, your TV is now your companion" with that Siri voice control. I bet you, they'll be more attention on iTV than it is on this Lenovo TV. And we Apple Fans we say Android steals from Apple

[Fact: Android comes up with something groundbreaking and nobody gives Android credit, and Apple makes it work better, and all the credit goes to Apple. The same thing with Face Unlock, when it is available on Apple, we will treat it like it's a groundbreaking technology]

i think this site is just biased towards iCrap. i totally agree with you and i'm happy that atleast one apple fan has some common sense n isn't brainwashed like the rest.

in a month or less apple is gonna file a patent n say this is ripping off they're future design of apple TV. then photoshop some bogus pic of it exsisting back in 1940 or so when steve jobs was just a wet dream in his dad's sac.

you really didnt have to turn this article to a android vs apple thing... smh... the article does not once compare it to anything apple...

no disrespect dude but you can leave out the # statements and change your profile pic... it leaves a perception that you arent loyal to anything... its great to have an open mind and i admire that about you but to represent something and bash it isnt a good look bruh...

can we readers come to ONE article without somebody being upset with apple about something??!! DAMN!!! lol

but back to the TV this is groundbreaking! and it should get all the credit especially if it passes all test of stability and performance. i think channel turning is becoming a thing of the past why not have a variety of things to do on your TV besides cable/video games?

@krazdjokr26, I'm a fan of Apple, truth is, when you're holding an Apple device, you look cool, you even feel cool [thought you envy all the groundbreaking stuff on Android devices] I love Apple, and I have most Apple devices [all this for Status] and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, I'm not gonna close my mouth and pretend like Apple isn't taking credit for other companies' hard work. It's the fact that the media gives alot of airtime and articlesare written to paraise Apple devices and tells us what those devices can do, while the same writers when they talk about Android, it's always about what it can't do, and turn a gimmicky function on an Apple device into a life saving function. I'm not gonna turn a blind eye and defend Apple when I can see what they're doing is wrong. I have a free will to do so.

And i'm sure if Apple comes up with their own "Phablet" it'll be given praises while Galaxy Note "was a great device but you need 2 hands to work it", Hello, the device was meant to be used with two hands, just as would work on your 7" tablet [i know lots of ppl will disagree with me, but it was meant to be used with 2 hands.

You see the thing with me is that I love technology and innovation. If it was of Apple, we will be behind when it comes to mobile innovations, because Apple feels entitle to every single thing they have created [not developed or invented] yet they take existing ideas and make them work better and they'll patent them so no one else can work on them to make them even better

I hope I made sense!

And 1 more thing

"you really didnt have to turn this article to a android vs apple thing... smh... the article does not once compare it to anything apple... "

lets b honest here, they didnt include Apple because there is nothing like this with Apple logo on it, if there was, i bet you, they'd have compared it to the one with Apple logo, and still tell us how Lenovo is trying to be like Apple and how they have a long way to go, because the one from Apple is the best. If u disagree with me, you must be from another planet. even hard core Apple fans will agree with me here

Mixed emotions as well. For the average consumer it could work. Playing Angry Birds on the TV! Mind blown. But for the average consumer, it all comes down to price. The Lenovo brand is strong, but not well known. Will the average consumer pay up for anything? Never.

For the tech nerd/game enthusiast, they already have a console/phone/tablet and will scoff at wanting to forgo their device to play on something else ripped off by Gameloft.

Voice search is awesome and instantly threatens Kinect's goals to own the living room and computer with it's voice control in my mind.

With the new promotion, and if this comes stateside, I could see myself upgrading to this from my current, crappy TV. I love the design of the stand and everything. If Sony can't one up this and the screen rocks, I'm sold. ;)

I think the only way for this to be functional as an Android device would be to offer a touchscreen controller (sorta like WiiU or touchscreen remotes) rather than interacting directly with the TV screen by hand. That way, no smudges, and a frantic game of Fruit Ninja or Cut the Rope wouldn't wind up knocing the TV off its stand
