This is much better, then the A9. The design is cool, let's see how many colors there will be.

Considering HTC, I think there will either be a lot of them or a very few. This is something I've never understood about them

5v 1.5 A is not fast charging. Even my 2.5 year old s4 had 5v 2A charging, and that is not fast charging. Fast charging should be at least 15 W of power. And I think almost 400$ is too much to ask for a midrange phone when we get a phone like moto X style, and most recently even s6 for 400$(eBay)

If it had SD652 then it would be good competition for moto x pure edition.

5 x 1.5 = 7.5W...damn tyrion you're right...

It will either need to be cheaper or a decent performer considering the sea of smartphones in this price range. As an HTC fan, I hope this sells well. A Snapdragon processor would have been really appreciated though

I'm surprised by how cheap it is and it seems better than the m9 and a9 which are the company's flagships

I'm really liking HTC's new design language. I really hope this phone comes to AT&T in the US.

Meanwhile Samsung A9 is rocking with impressive Snapdragon 652. Why can't HTC have SD 652 on their X9 too?

Exactly it could have been really great device if it has SD652. And I would have not mind paying $400 for it.

400 bucks is overpriced. There are way better options for the same price!

meanwhile LeTV S1 X600 which also use the same X10 2.2GHz, and the same 5.5 inch 1080p screen, 32GB storage, 13MP camera, and 3000mAh battery cost less than $180 seems like they want to repeat M9+ failure -_-

I don't think X10 is much worse in GPU.

Looks pretty good and specs sound acceptable in writing. Being an HTC person, I'd only consider this device if it was made available in a smaller size.. ....I wish phone manufacturers would start making flagship phones like before or at least smaller alternatives such as anything between 4 to 4.6 inches

4.6" will not have enough space for 3000+mAh battery.
