The Galaxy A10 is official as Samsung's latest budget offering
Samsung announced the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 at MWC 2019 earlier this week. Today, the South Korean brand is expanding its new Galaxy A series with the announcement of a new model – the Galaxy A10.

Large Infinity-V Display, 13-Megapixel Rear Camera

Like Samsung’s other budget models, the Galaxy A10 features an LCD Infinity-V display that includes a small notch above the display and a thick chin beneath. In this particular case, the panel boasts a diagonal of 6.2-inches and an HD+ (1520 x 720p) resolution.

Moving over to the Galaxy A10’s rear, the design Samsung has gone for is pretty generic and resembles that of the company’s other budget models. The back panel is carved out of plastic and, rather unsurprisingly, there’s just one rear camera.

Speaking of cameras, the rear sensor boasts a 13-megapixel resolution and an f/1.9 aperture. It’s supported by the usual Panorama and Video modes in addition to a dedicated Low Light Mode for nighttime photography. The Galaxy A10 also includes a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.

Completing the external setup is a micro-USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a rear-facing speaker.

Android 9 Pie & Samsung One UI Pre-installed

The Galaxy A10 features the company’s own octa-core Exynos 7884 on the inside. In terms of performance, it should be comparable to the Snapdragon 450.

Samsung’s budget offering also boasts 2GB of RAM and a respectable 32GB of internal storage. If this still isn’t enough for you, microSD expansion of up to 512GB is supported.
Lastly, the Galaxy A10 ships with Android 9 Pie and Samsung’s One UI overlay straight out of the box. To keep the lights on, the device has been fitted with a 3,400mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy A10 Price, Release Date, Availability

Like the Samsung Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50, the Galaxy A10 will start reaching consumers around mid-March. Initial availability will, however, be limited to the Indian market. Nevertheless, European consumers should receive the smartphone later on in the quarter. The US, on the other hand, is unlikely to see a launch.
