The Essential Phone will be showcased at a “First Look” event on August 25

For time being, it's unclear who's going to attend the event, as the media did not seem to have received invitations, which means this is probably a consumers-only type of gathering...

I received an invitation. Since it is only 30 minutes away for me I'll be going.

It's just too little too late...
a little too wrong...
And I can't wait...
But you know all the right things to say...
You know it's just too little too late.

Unlike samsung and LG which using new display panel with reduced display driver that allow bezelless design. I think this phone still using the old panel just like what sharp do with their past bezelless phone.

Off the Google band wagon for a Note 8. I loved switching to the note 7 last year no matter how brief a time it made an impact on me. S PAY, and S pen. Top class screen.... Vs out dated hard ware fast updates.

Nexus 5,nexus 6, nexus 6p right now. After an update my Nexus 6 began getting battery issues. No parts are available from Google or Motorola. They deny issues but I searched for complaints and they are showing up. I bought a oem battery it works but still won't charge.. I need to buy another part..... Eventually I will just to get my files and photos

I'll pass it seems like Google is becoming like every other company.... That is selling phones minus Apple.

Love or hate their customer product support is rivaled by none for iPhone.
