The Elder Scrolls: Legends out now on Android devices

After a long and painful (for card genre fans) beta testing period, Bethesda has finally launched The Elder Scrolls: Legends on Android platform. The game briefly appeared in the Google Play Store last year, but Bethesda pulled it quickly saying it was published unintentionally.

Developed by Direwolf Digital, The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a melange between Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering. Although it has its own rules, very much different than any other card game out there, it's reminiscent to those two.

Aside from the PvP mode where you play against other players' decks, The Elder Scrolls: Legends comes with a very enticing story mode that provides hours of solo gameplay. However, players only receive free access to the first campaign, as the rest of the chapters are hidden behind a paywall.

Unlike Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering, Bethesda's game allows players to upgrade specific cards by winning games with decks that contain them. Upgraded cards give you more flexibility and broaden your strategy options during every match.

Another important aspect is that Legends has a robust system of rewards that players receive for free if they complete various daily and monthly tasks. The Elder Scrolls: Legends is free to play, but in-app purchases can go up to $80 or $90.
