The Apple iPhone was the top selling tech product of 2017

A research firm called GBH Insights said today that the Apple iPhone was the top selling tech product of 2017. In fact, with 233 million units expected to be rung up for the entire year, the device sold more than the numbers 2 through 5 products added together. In second place you'll find the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with 33 million phones sold...

Lol so much for honesty. They should include all Galaxy products if they are lumping all the iPhones together. Then it would likely be second place though so the Apple fandom might have an aneurysm.

Seems to me you're the only one having an aneurysm at the moment...

Atleast they don't slow down in a year, like the fastest phone on the planet.

Hey, it's a feature. They pay good money to have their phones bricked early.

Samsung doesn't need to slow their phones down manually because they basically slow themselves down as they age... unfortunately.

Dumb people who doesn’t want to spend bucks for genuine apples parts. Dumb to chose third party accessories. Dumber to slept on it or bring it during bathing. Basic knowledge.

what happened to Note 7 was a accident and a design flaw. whereas what apple did was that they intentionally cripple their old iphones to force naive sheep like you to buy new one every year. Which is unethical business practice.

I have the new IPhone program every year they don’t force me to get the latest, Apple got caught doing wrong and they gonna pay for it, Shamesung didn’t admitted how bad was the Note 7 until the US government force them to fix that mess so they recalled, refurbished and make stupid morons like you and teckie buy the same exploding garbage with a different serial number

Slow down to get the most of it. Should last longer compared to android cheap products that doesn’t count quality. Anyway, i change iphone every year, not your problem that invest too much on .

No they don't. You need to manually clean the cache memory every week. While on iOS, it cleans itself.

I guess if you say something over and over again then it must be true whether you back it up with facts or not. There used to be a guy named Alikmalix that would come here every other day claiming all of his family's old iphones were still blazing fast and buttery smooth. Sorry bruh, but the era of the PA repetitive claim, personal testimonial, anecdote, pinkie swearing that something is true died 2 weeks ago. They days when you could just type nonsense with no basis in fact have been throttled.

Which ones. Because that's never been my experience. Maybe if you don't install junk on your phone you won't have issues.

they don't need to do it intentionally, it's all automatic as they age.

And also the iDeathgate. IPhones have caused human deaths. Last accountable was 20 people.

It doesn't take a year for galaxy phones to get slow. After about 6 months they'll be literally unusable. I'm not even exaggerating or kidding.

And yet they still outsell iPhones consistantly (over 300 million every year)

nope you are exaggerating and kidding, i had (and still have) my note 5 for 2 years now and the battery is 71% of the original capacity (as indicated by Accubattery app) yet it still performs the same out of the box before 2 years why ifans are trying to hide their shame by blaming others with false information? is it the only way you could come up with to evade the embarrassment ??

All the tech politicians in this site bash and trash Apple like a bunch of monkeys, yet Apple rises above all in smartphone business and Samsung is the second best but not even close......lol

I get the feeling that it's meant to reinforce Apple zealots' thoughts on non-Apple products so that they can further evangelize using this commercial as material to work off of. Or it's meant to shame cheap spenders into buying the more expensive Apple product for fear of looking like a cheapskate loser, which is why I don't think they cast Brad Pitt as the duped consumer.
