Telus about it: Canadian carrier Jelly Beans HTC One X OTA

0. phoneArena posted on 23 Jan 2013, 22:58

A tweet from HTC Canada says that Telus has started rolling out Android 4.1 for the HTC One X via an OTA update a few weeks after Rogers customers received it; such updates don't go out all at once, so don't panic if it doesn't arrive on your phone right away; if you're impatient, you can always check your phone manually to see if Android 4.1 arrived

I @reply HTCUSA the other day, the HTC rep told me AT&T HTC One X is getting JB update but it's just not on the road map yet. WTF... and proceed to tell me to wait for the update and pay close attention to the upcoming devices... WTF!! I just want update for my HTC ONE X AT&T!!!!

HaHaHa there's a big chance AT&T HTC One X won't be getting the update to Android Jelly Bean cause they've already planned to release new high-end devices to that company, Cause they said the same about the T-Mobile HTC MyTouch 4G Slide but not only did it not get a update to ICS it got discontinued not to long after and I know this cause I called and emailed HTC about it and they told me it would be updated for sure and now it looks to be the same with the HTC One X.

DONT UPGRADE to Jelly Bean. Battery Life is cut in half!!!! I just update on Jan.22 that evening. For the last 3 days my battery life has been cut in half. I am a high user and my battery is now empty in about 4 hrs instead of 8 to 9 hr.

I called Telus and HTC and they don't have a fix yet for me...... :(
