Take a look at the free case that comes with the HTC One (M8) in some regions
In some areas of the world, the HTC One (M8) came with something extra in the box, a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) case. This is not a premium product like the HTC Dot View case, but is designed to keep the display off of flat surfaces. It also has a flap that covers the micro USB port and the 3.5mm earphone jack.

As you would expect, the case has the appropriate cut outs for the cameras, microphones, the power button and volume rocker. If you're in a region where the case is included, congratulations.
