I don't suppose there's the smallest chance it will be running WebOS? Heck, I'd take a skinned version of Android that looks and feels like WebOS.

"...in early 2018. The Palm smartphone will not run WebOS/Palm OS or any other form of the old gesture-based operating system." Reading is fundamental.

Damn, I would have loved for this to run WebOS! TCL has a good strategy going, with how they will target the different brands of handsets that they produce, especially with Alcatel for millennials, and BlackBerry branded handsets at enterprise consumers (despite what a certain someone would say. Looks like he was wrong, as usual). With TCL, what's old is new again.

Now that Mxy knows you like Palm/WebOS, he'll suddenly hate them and troll any article related to them.

He probably does. I know I do, but it's not my cup of tea. You don't see me going on pro-Apple articles and bloviating about antenna-gate or any other sh*t Apple did years ago.
