T-Mobile tells subscribers 'don't update to iOS 10'

T-Mobile is warning its iPhone totin' subscribers not to update their device to iOS 10. On the carrier's website, T-Mobile says that the update is causing some Apple iPhone 6, Apple iPhone 6 Plus and Apple iPhone SE units to lose connectivity. As a result, the nation's third largest carrier is advising iPhone customers to wait until Apple issues a fix before installing iOS 10...

I have an iPhone 6s+ and I got the iOS update just fine. But I got mine from the Apple Store instead of thru Tmo so idk if that matters.

It doesn't matter cause the only source is directly from Apple, Tmobile has nothing to do with your download.

I've said this before, and I'll continue to say it until Apple gets better with their software releases: Apple needs to really step it up in the QC department with their software. There's absolutely no reason why a company in Apple's position that touts that they have the most advanced OS on the planet is having so many continuous issues with iOS software.

I don't blame you. Battery issue aside, the Note 7 seems like a hell of a device.

Aka, mxy is still seething with anger because I've owned him in various comments sections this week, as well as he's deflecting from the fact that he was called out several times in this very comments section because of his stupidity and blind $#33pish behavior.

A blackberry shill calling someone a $h€€p is pretty hypocritical.

A blind, Apple worshipping, zombified $#33p calling someone else a shill is definitely hypocritical.

There is a (one) problem with a (one) carrier in a (one) country that is going to be fixed as soon as possible (a month tops); how is that "an Apple problem"? There are reports for each and every iPhone, having this issue over T-Mobile, or it's a 6s related one?

I was wrong about the time it took Apple to help T-Mobile customers; it only took a day, not a month...

It's an update pushed from Apple servers (not carriers) and can only be downloaded over wifi, not over data supplied by the carrier. Sounds like an Apple problem to me. And yes, they did fix it quickly. Now let's hope they fix these just as quick: http://www.iphonehacks.com/2016/09/ios-10-bugs.html

So, it was more like "a problem with an Apple product that used a certain carrier" rather than an "Apple problem" (have you heard of other users on other carriers having it?) Btw, I only have the last bug out of those 10 (on the last 2 ses); it is an annoying bug, but it is nothing to worry about.

It's an Apple problem caused by an update from Apple to an Apple device. Anything else you say about it is deflection at best, and I'm not about to debate with you on what is an obvious Apple issue, caused by Apple, but you just seem to want to shift some of the blame. Apple has, especially as of late, released crappy software updates that break functionality on the phone. This is a fact. Have fun dancing around the topic by yourself.

Here we go again... Dude, if I remember correctly, we had a discussion where I have said that an issue - named Quadroot - was also due to the OS that presents itself on, while you were saying it's related exclusively on a component problem. This is exactly the same, the only difference is that the one that created this OS has acknowledged it as an issue related to it's system on a certain service provider and it HAS FIXED it (fast). It's not a question of good or bad when this issues appear, is the way one deals with them, and Apple it doing things right (Samsung is doing right too, that's why the customers of both of them are the happiest). Just as I have said in the other topic (Quadroot is not an Android issue but a QC devices that are powered exclusively by Android issue) this is not an Apple issue, but a T-mobile iPhone powered exclusively by iOS 10 (made by Apple, of course) issue. You can't be right here, because you hve to be wrong there; and you can't be right there, because you have to be wrong here; either way, you loose, because you just have a thing for Apple and you act accordingly instead of using logic. Cheers, dude!

Here we go again with you rambling on. You posted all of that dribble and proved absolutely nothing. Typical you. It's an Apple issue. Get over it. Use your brain for once instead of your fanboyism. Now go enjoy your weekend.
