Swype and Ice Cream Sandwich don’t mix… for now

With the Samsung Galaxy Nexus finally hitting the U.S., some users have noticed that the Swype keyboard is not present on the first official Ice Cream Sandwich device. Swype has taken to its Twitter account to inform users that the way Android reports screen resolution in Ice Cream Sandwich effects Swype’s ability to work properly. While it is a no go for right now, Swype says it is actively working on an Ice Cream Sandwich friendly version of its keyboard.
