Apparently, Android needs BlackBerry more since they have no clue as to how to secure their systems.

Well, bad news for you. According to this article Blackberry already sacking most in hardware & software design. This is the reason that most of BB latest product is snapdragon S4. Because they just recycle the hardware & software. Quote" BlackBerry appears to be reallocating R&D resources to Software, because it sees this as a growth area. This is probably a good strategy, but if the new Leap is any indication, it leaves Hardware starved for investment. The Leap uses a 2-year old Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) Snapdragon S4 processor. Why use a processor that's obsolete? Because it minimizes the design changes that have to be made for the new phone. In effect, BlackBerry is not investing anything in hardware, except for the bare minimum needed to keep introducing "new" but instantly outdated products." and that's, how blackberry made the US$20 rounding error profit.
