Nicely written article! If Apple's offering is solid tomorrow, the biggest thing I want from it is a high-resale value on my iPhone 4 to upgrade immediately!

As a BlackBerry user who finds the notification LED highly convenient, I would love to see the iPhone finally have this feature. It's one of those features that once you get used to it, you can't imagine why other phones don't have it.

Why do hold Apple to a different standard than other, every thing listed here is available on android, and alot more, I would like to see a iphone that support DLNA[ without using a third party app] or support flash, or let me download apps from the web not everyone has the money to use the app store or itunes.

I'm trying to get rid of my 2 iPhone 4's and people are running like slaves to buy the iPhone 5. less than 30 days with my LG Thrill 4G (hate the Thrill but love the awesomeness of Android OS) and I don't know why I waited so long to switch to Android.

I can't believe...larger screen, dual core processor, 4G and global connectivity...and not one mention of battery life. Ask any Android fan how they like being more than 5 feet from a wall outlet with all that power. If Apple can find a way to offer more than a solid days worth of business or fun, without added thickness or heat, they will have people lining up around the block! And I realize that will likely be the case anyway!

I do not want to imply my opinion on anybody. If you like Android - good, buy it. Yes, my crappy device is with 2.2. It does not matter, because Android release "new" version every two weeks. That is because it's so "good" maybe, hm? Yes 3GS was not ideal, but compared to the 2.2 Android on my LG was WAAAAY better. I am more inclined to buy Nokia now, because of the real office and MS support. But this does not stop me from being very curious about the new iPhone. As I said, these are my favourites, but Android - no, thanks. Never again :)
