This picture just proves we're all mortal and will have to face challenges in our lives. This challenge is certainly one where he will have to face all of his demons.

While I don't particularily like Jobs, I do hope he recovers. However if he doesn't, I'm sure his legacy will continue, and he will certainly be best remembered for revolutionising what we all call "the mobile phone".

Well of course we are all mortal. I would hope that Jobs health problems arent what makes people realize that.

Hope he recovers.

They are making a sort of big deal about this because it involves futures, and futures involve money. To a lot of people out there who are directly affected, those in the financial industry, shareholders of Apple, Apple corporation itself, this is potentially big news about what condition he is actually in. I am sure everyone can reason through what the ramifications may or may not be, but the point is if the health of Steve Jobs wasn't so important to so many people on a financial level, no one would care. Because it is, this is news worth following to see how it all unravels.
